Service Description
This camp session is all about studying and creating our own civilizations. Based on one of our favorite books Weslandia by Paul Fleischman. Students will break into groups of 4-6 campers to create their own language, traditions, money, food, jobs, clothing, and government. We will kick off our week by talking about what we need to survive, read the book and start to brainstorm ideas. By the end of the day campers will be placed into groups and begin the process of completing their own civilizations. Parents and caregivers will be invited on the last day to check out what our campers created. Cancellation Policy
Please contact us 24 hours in advance to reschedule, cancel, or sign up for a session. We do not guarantee a full refund after that 24 hour point due to the purchase of materials. Some sessions, such as summer camp, will have additional rules due to the amount of supplies being purchased ahead of time. These sessions will have more information about their special cancellation rules in the information section for the event. Last minute sign ups are at the discretion of the session's leader due to materials and participant limits. If IYC cancels a session there will be a full refund to each participant.
